Comfort Meets Value at Bluegreen Club 36 in Las Vegas!

Staying at Bluegreen Club 36, part of the Hilton brand, for a four-day family getaway turned out to be exactly the kind of Las Vegas trip I didn’t know I needed at 32. I’ve done the Strip-in-your-face vacations before—where the hotel is basically an extension of the casino floor and you wake up to slot machines shrieking before you’ve even had coffee—but this was a completely different vibe. Club 36 gave us space to actually live for a few days, not just crash between shows and buffets. Vacations of any type can be stressful, so having a place to land, such as Bluegreen Club 36, might be the most important decision a traveler makes. Is Club 36 the perfect place to call home while staying in Las Vegas, Nevada? Read on to learn more about the rooms and amenities they have to offer in this desert oasis!

[Warning: impressions from my stay at Club 36 in Las Vegas, Nevada, are below!]

Initial impressions of Bluegreen Club 36 in Las Vegas

When we pulled up, the first thing I noticed was just how calm it felt. It’s only a few blocks east of the Strip, which those who have stayed in Vegas proper know can feel energetic (and just a bit chaotic). However, the whole area in which Bluegreen Club 36 resides is quieter, almost like you’ve stepped just slightly offstage from the Vegas spectacle. The resort has this clean, Art Deco–inspired design, and the lobby immediately gave “stylish apartment building” more than “tourist circus,” which I appreciated, especially traveling with family.

Our villa was surprisingly roomy, a stark contrast to my previous stay on the Las Vegas Strip. Perhaps the biggest game-changer was the full kitchen, reducing the cost of a trip such as this one. Breakfast became an easy family ritual instead of a $60 daily scramble for café food, allowing us to start our days without anxiety and mitigating the struggle that seems synonymous with finding food while traveling. We even stocked the fridge with drinks and snacks, essential for all the walking we did, from the little plaza next door. There’s something about having that home base—coffee in hand, everyone easing into the day—that makes a long weekend feel like an actual vacation instead of a forced march from attraction to attraction.

Examining what Club 36 has to offer

Amenities-wise, we made good use of the indoor heated pool, seeing as the weather was in the 60s, far from the desert heat so many assume when journeying to Vegas. The gym was available 24 hours a day, every day of the week, for those looking to sneak in a workout while on vacation (or to sweat out any toxins from the previous night). I also greatly appreciated being able to do laundry halfway through the trip, so we didn’t go home with a suitcase full of chaos. Each of these elevated our stay from a typical hotel experience to something closer to home, providing a moment of reprieve and relaxation before hitting the city once again.

Even better was the proximity to the Vegas Strip. With a quick rideshare—five minutes, tops—or hopping onto the courtesy shuttle, which runs between the hours of 10 am and 11 pm, those staying at Bluegreen Club 36 will be in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the city! Being close to but not in the noise was honestly perfect for a family trip. We’d go out for the high-energy Vegas nights—shows, dinner, wandering the casinos—but returning to Club 36 afterward felt like decompression. You open the door, walk into a quiet villa with real walls and real rooms, and suddenly the overstimulation shuts off like a switch.

Final thoughts on this Las Vegas hotel

Over four days that my family and I stayed in Las Vegas, we settled into this rhythm: mornings- grabbing a bagel from Einstein’s, which is also located in the villa, afternoons exploring the Strip or doing nearby activities, and evenings winding down with drinks and a movie. Never once did we feel cramped or overwhelmed. And as someone who’s stayed in more hotels than I care to admit, this was the first time I left feeling rested.

There are a few trade-offs: no on-site casino, housekeeping isn’t automatic every day, and you’ll use rideshares more than if you were on Las Vegas Boulevard. But honestly? For a family-oriented, sanity-preserving Vegas home base, those things barely registered.

If you’re in your early thirties, traveling with family, and want the best of Vegas without the constant sensory overload, Bluegreen Club 36 is a smart, comfortable, and surprisingly stylish choice. I’d absolutely stay here again.
