While Dr. Seuss has created so many iconic characters in his vast number of children’s stories, none are as synonymous with the brand as the Cat in the Hat. Plastered on all the books as the face of Dr. Seuss, the humanized cat with the red and white striped top hat serves as the connective tissue for so many of the stories throughout the larger Seuss world! That holds true for the stage show Seussical the Musical, where The Cat in the Hat serves as the emcee for this production! We recently spoke with OnOurOwn Productions’ Cat in the Hat, who also happens to be the director of the show, Jerry Pokorney!
