When was the last time you attended an orchestra performance? Better question is: when was the last time you attended an orchestra performance beachfront while the sun was setting on a gorgeous estate? There was something magical about seeing the Michigan Philharmonic play Broadway hits at Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, MI, as a way to close out the summer. The Edsel and Eleanor Ford House was the perfect place for an evening full of music, laughter, and gathering with friends and family to enjoy Broadway classics spanning the decades.

In this episode of the Box Seat Babes podcast, host Brian Kitson and special guest Ryann Ferguson break down the On Broadway night at The Ford House! This one-of-a-kind experience blended our love of all things theater and Broadway with the beautiful nature that Michigan has to offer. With a wide array of classic musicals, such as “Memories” from Cats, “Don’t Rain On My Parade” from Funny Girl, to more modern theater, such as pieces from Wicked and Hamilton, the Michigan Philharmonic captured the energy and vibrancy of Broadway! Which pieces from this experience at The Ford House were our favorites? What were the overall vibes from our night out at The Ford House? Would either the host or honoree Box Seat Babes attend another night out with The Michigan Philharmonic? What were their standout moments from this production? Listen to this exciting episode to find out!
